Start with a chain of 34.

ROW 1-

DC in the 4th chain from the hook.

*Skip next two ch's.

2 dc, ch 1, 2 dc in the next ch.

dc in each of the next two ch's.*

Repeat from * to the end. Ending with dc's in last two ch's.

You should have 4 shell clusters and 5 two dc spaces.

ROW 2-

ch 3 and turn, dc in next dc.

*in ch 1 space of shell- dc, ch 2, dc

skip to 2 dc's and dc in each.

repeat from * to the end with a dc in the last dc and a dc in the top of the ch 3.

 

ROW 3-

ch 3 and turn, dc in the next dc.

*in ch 2 space of shell-2 dc, ch1, 2 dc

skip to 2 dc's and dc in each.

repeat from * to end with a dc in the last dc and a dc in the top of ch 3.

 

 

 

Repeat rows 2 and 3 until you reach the desired length. You could leave this as a scarf or sew the two ends together to make a Mobius or Infinity scarf.

Sizing: 

·         Width-6.5 inches

·         Circumference-Scarf pictured is 60 inches long.  Easily customize to the length you need by adding or subtracting rows.

Instructions:

 

Ch 19

Foundation Row: In the 4th chain from the hook, work dc, ch 1, dc in the same ch. *Skip two chains and then in the next ch, work dc, ch 1, dc in the same ch.  Repeat 3 more times from * to end, then in the last ch, work 1 dc, ch 1, 1 dc in the same ch.


Row 1: Turn, ch 3 and work dc, ch 1, dc in each of the chain 1 spaces from the previous row (center of each "V").  At the end of the row, finish with a dc in the last space (ch 3 turning space).


Repeat row 1 until 60 inches long or desired length.

 

Finishing:

Whip stitch the two ends together.  Weave in all ends and you're finished!

Skill Level: Easy

Supplies: Size H Crochet Hook, 3 ½ ounces worsted weight yarn (Canadiana used in prototype), yarn needle.

Stitches Used: sl st, ch, sc, dc.

Gauge: 6 st = 2 inches, 3 rows = 2 inches

Directions:

Rnd. 1: ch 17, sc in 2nd ch from hook, dc in next ch, *sc in next ch, dc in next ch*, repeat from asterisks 6 times, ch 1, turn.        16 st

Rnd. 2: sc in first dc, dc in next sc, *sc in next dc, dc in next sc*, repeat from asterisks 6 times, ch 1 turn.       16 st

Repeat rnd. 2 until scarf is desired length, fasten off on final rnd, weave in ends.
