Join each round with sl st to beg st. Start each
round in the same st as the join.
Last Round before heel: Repeat Round 2, 1 more

starting in same st, [POPst, ch1, skip 1], repeat to
end, join. (18, 22 Popcorns)

Sl st into next ch1, ch2, starting in same st,
[POP ST, ch1, in each ch1 space], repeat to end, join.
Fasten off after last repeat. (18, 22 Popcorns)
For Small Size
repeat Round 2, one more time.
For Large Size
repeat Round 2, three more times.
Last Round:
Ch1, sc in each st around, join. Fasten
off leaving a tail approximately 20” long. Using tail,
sew cuff in place just above eyelet round.
Option 2 – Overlapped X Stitch Cuff (see tutorial):
Round 1:
Working with inside facing you, ch3, make
one FPdc in the st to the right of this st, continue to

Hanger:
Fold cuff to outside at
Folding Row (Row 9).
With
Yarn doubled, join in center back of cuff around
Folding Row, ch18, sl st to beg join, fasten off.
Cord (optional):
Cut strand desired finished length times 6 (example:
if you want the finished cord to be 2 feet
~which is
what I used~,
cut the strand 12 feed), tie together on
one side, and to a stationary item on the other
(doorknob or chair work well). Insert a crochet hook
on the side you tied together and start to turn in one
direction (I usually go right), turn until you have a
tight roping (I usually turn 200- 250 times). Bring the
end you are holding together with the end tied to
the stationary item and the rope will start to twist, it
may require a little coaxing to twist evenly (it helps
to have another pair of hands to do this so enlist a
friend!). Tie a knot on each end to secure.
Weave cord through eyelet row, tie.
Note, for a two colored roping as shown in some of
my samples, use one strand of each color desired.

Suggestions for finishing your stocking
You may use cords, ribbons, beads or other items to finish off the cuff. I like to add bells, tassels, pompoms and
other fun decorations to the ends of the cord or ribbon. Have fun!

For a sturdier, longer lasting stocking I recommend adding a lining. Use any woven fabric you like. Fold the fabric
with right sides together, trace the stocking on the fabric and add �½” all around for a seam allowance. Sew
around the sides and bottom of the lining. Fold down the top to create a finished edge. Insert the liner in the
stocking with wrong sides together. Using a needle and thread, slip stitch the top of the lining to the inside of the
stocking.
