              To whom it may concern,

Karol Bartoszewicz is a student of my class on a first year of his Master degree in Music Performance.

He is a talented, skilfull, hard working and reliable person who always strikes for perfection, not only in music. He takes very active part in life of our academy during various events and concerts of Academic Symphony Orchestra (as a leader of 2nd violin).

As a member of number of international orchestras (including innovative Baltic Sea Youth Philharmonic and prestigious European Youth Orchestra) he performed on many  important music festivals (Bayreuther Osterfestival, Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival, Bolzano Festival, Graffenegg Festival, Ravello Festival, Young Euro Classics, Abu Dhabi Festival) and venues (Berlin Philharmony, Konzerthaus Berlin, Amsterdam Concertgebouw, Warsaw Philharmony).

He had an opportunity to play under baton of excellent conductors like Maestro Kurt Masur, Kristjan Jarvi, Krzysztof Urbański, Thomas Søndergård and with first class soloists, including
Julia Fisher, Gautier Capuçon, Baiba Skride, Alexander Romanovsky, Valentina Lisitsa.

Always lokking for ways to improve his instrumental skills, he is more than eager to
take part in music workshops and masterclasses. Among his many teachers were:
late Piotr Janowski, Bartosz Bryła, Jan Bjoranger, Henrik Hochschlid, Maria Egelhof and
Paul de Keyser.

Making music is his lifelong passion to which he is devoted entirely. Apart from classical repertoire Karol shows a great interest in improvisation and folk music.

I am delighted reccomed this young, talented musician and I am convinced that his presence on Zermat Music Festival would bring a reciprocal benefit. From the one side, he would be a strong asstet to a festival orchestra and from the other he would gain an invaluable learning experience from taking masterclasses and playing on such important event.
