Insert the provided diskette into drive A. 2. Open "My Computer", double click drive A icon. 3. Select the INTEL_95 directory. 4. Double click on "INTEL_95" icon. This is a self-extracting file. 5. When the screen dialog prompted "The windows directory is C:\WINDOWS (Y/N)?", enter "Y", if your default windows directory is C:\WINDOWS, otherwise enter "N" then direct the correct path to where WIN95 were installed. 6. When "You need to restart the Windows 95 now!" appeared on the screen, remove your floppy diskette from driver A and click Start button then select Shutdown to restart your Windows 95. 7. After Windows has restarted, all the new features supported by Intel 430TX/440LX will be detected by WIN95 and the drivers will be added to its registry automatically. 8. During the updating procedure, Windows may prompt you to restart windows, click "Yes", to restart windows. (Windows may prompt you to restart for several times) 9. Follow the windows prompt to complete this setup procedure. *** Notice: a. It is strongly recommanded to install this patch file on a newly installed system. b. It is not necessary to install this patch file if you are running Windows 95 OSR2.1. c. Although the USB controller shows no exclamation mark in front of system devices, it doesn't mean that your USB device will work properly. You should install USB supplement service pack to your system in order to let your USB device work properly.
