This game can involve bodily contact, or not. Decide whether it will be allowed before beginning. It’s only
allowed if everyone agrees.
This game can result in important photo opportunities. Have a camera handy, if nobody objects.
EVERYONE​
, take a look at some of the

. These cards describe the dreams we will
glimpse. After looking through a few of them, shuffle the pile and put it face down.

If you are missing some elements of the Glimpser attire, make do with what you have. The notepad and
pencil, though, are required.
GLIMPSER​
, leave the room. If you can hear what’s going on in there, go farther away.
DREAMERS​
, when you’re convinced the Glimpser is out of earshot, draw three
DREAM CARDS
.
DREAMERS​
, create a frozen tableau that embodies all three of the cards you’ve drawn.
No words may be spoken during the creation of the tableau.
You may incorporate your bodies and nearby objects.
No touching one another unless all players have agreed to allow it.
When choosing your pose, be mindful: You will be frozen in that position for a while.
Each person is allowed to make a repeating non-verbal sound. This includes humming,
beeping, sobbing, and so on. No words are allowed.
Try to prepare your tableau within 1 minute.
When you are ready, somebody call out, “
Glimpser! We’re ready!”
GLIMPSER​
, when you are called, re-enter the room. Observe the frozen tableau. Take it in from
different angles. Then, write down three separate adjective to describe the scene in your notepad.

each have a cluster of synonyms. For example, one card has “Sad,
Miserable, Depressed, Mournful, Anguished.”
Don’t guess two similar words. Only the first will count.
You don’t need an exact guess.
Once you’ve written down your three guesses, say,
“That will do, Dreamers.”
DREAMERS​
, once the Glimpser has said this to you, you may once again move and speak.
EVERYONE​
, compare the Glimpser’s three adjectives to the three
DREAM CARDS
.
Put the successfully guessed cards in the
SUCCESS PILE.

the Glimpser four guesses. In the round after that, draw five Dream Cards and give the Glimpser five
guesses, and so on for the following rounds.
Play until you’ve made 12 successful guesses or 6 missed guesses.
