1. Create How To Videos
– People search YouTube for solutions. How to
searches are extremely popular, and how to videos tend to get the most views.
What how to videos can you create for your niche?
2. A Related Channels Most Popular Video
– Look at other channels in
your niche, and filter by popularity. What video of theirs is the most popular?
Create your own version of that video topic. Rinse and repeat for other popular
videos.
3. Playlists & Timely Features
– Can you create a theme of videos which
goes live every Tuesday? Can you categorize certain videos into playlists?

Save time by recording in bulk, and then scheduling up them videos for the next
few weeks. If you’re publishing 3 videos a week, you don’t need to create three
videos a week… create 6 in one day and schedule them up for the next two
weeks.

Yourself
Recommended Apps:
iMovie App – Easy to use, and really awesome. Edit your footage on iMovie on
your phone…
VidTrim – Really easy to use, and add nice effects to your footage too.
MoviePro – Great for shooting video. It gives your more controls, and almost
turns your phone into a mini DSLR.
Kinomatic – Similar to the above.
Recommended Equipment:
Tripod –
Stability for your phone. Add it to the tripod, get in shot and then shoot.
Lights

Shooting in low light? Add this LED light to your phone for a better shot.

2. Get A Video Camera
– A wise investment if you follow the course step by
step. A video camera will produce better quality videos, and will take your
YouTube channel to a whole new level.

Sony NEX-‐54K/B
– Get DSLR quality without the bulk. Great for vlogging and
recording videos easily.

Nikon Coolpix S6600BK
– Really easy to use, with great auto settings and
defaults. Perfect for beginners and a great price too!

Canon EOS Rebel TG
– Any Canon DSLR is highly recommended, but this is
great for an entry level DSLR. It offers 1080p Full HD movie filming, filters and of
course you have the option to change up lenses depending on the shot.
RRP: $450.
3. Use Your Webcam
– You can use your built in webcam if you’re low on
investment.
Video Creation Method 1: Audio
Choices
To improve the audio of your self recorded videos; invest in a
lapel mic
or a
shotgun mic.
Rode NTG-‐2 Shotgun Mic
– It will set you back around $225, but this
shotgun mic is great for all kinds of video recordings. No wires in shot, crisp
quality and easy to use.
Video Creation Method 2: Record
Your Screen
Great for on screen tutorial videos, recording you screen is great if you want to
record a presentation or want to show your audience how to do something.

IShowU HD
After creating and editing your video, you’ll want to export it in HD quality. You
can get away with 720p, but you want to aim for at least 1080p for your videos.
Export them as an .mp4 file with a video codec of H.264.
