publisher,

the
ever
repeated
regrets
of
experts
and

would

such
a
text-book,

works
upon
Numismatics,
and
of

Coin
Books,"
within
the
last
two
hundred

been
issued
an
immense
number,
many
of
them
very
valuable
in
specialities;
but
none
universal
in
application,
all
crowded
with
unnecessary
matter,
and
nob
one
adapted
to
the
requirement
of

or

of

from
the
Latin,
Greek,
French,
German,
Italian,

other
languages;
to
compare,
sift,
select,
and
verify
all
the
mass,
and
to
condense
the
information
to
the
utmost,

portion

my

received
