SIZE/MEASUREMENTS
Blanket measures 19” x 19” but can vary based on yarn and hook size.
MATERIALS
*Crochet hook size: 2.5mm & 3.0mm
*Fingering weight yarn: Lavender & White
*Fiberfill
*Felt: Black & Yellow
*Stitch Markers to mark your rounds
*Tapestry needle
*Matching thread
*Hot Glue
PATTERN NOTES
Numbers in ( ) at the end of each round or row indicate the total number of stitches for
that round or row.
Always use stitch markers to mark your rounds.
There's no need to slip stitch and/or chain when going to the next round unless stated to
do so.
The chain 2 in the beginning of each row in the blanket does not count as 1 stitch.
You’re always making your group in the single crochet stitch from the previous row and
skipping the hdc and dc sts.

BOW

Rnd 3-5: sc in each sc around, in the last round sl st to first sc from previous
round (15)
F/O and weave in ends. With a strand of yarn about 8" long wrap several times
through the middle of the bow and secure with a knot. Weave in ends.
ASSEMBLY
Surprisingly my ends didn’t roll in maybe because of the yarn weight and hook
use but just in case yours did follow these instructions. Steam your blanket to 19”
by 19”. This helps the edges look smooth, not roll in and evens out the blanket. I
use my iron since it has a steam option
(if yours doesn’t have that option then ironing
the blanket should also work)
. Place a towel underneath the blanket and place pins to
keep it in place. Fold the towel in half. Steam the blanket. Let it cool completely
before taking the pins out.

I recommend pinning the pieces in place before sewing them to make sure you
have them in the position you like best before sewing.
(Most people like to use the
yarn in the end from the finish pieces to sew them in place but I personally like to use
matching thread).
The head will be sewn in the center of the blanket. You will want to fold your
blanket and place pins in the center so you can have a better idea where to sew
the head. Don’t sew the bottom of the head completely on the blanket. Since the
head is oval try to sew it in a oval shape not circular since it won’t look right and the
head will bobble.
The arms will be sewn right underneath the head.
The ears will be sewn between the ends of round 1 and 6. Stuff the ears lightly
while pinning it in place. The bow, sew it in the ear you like best.
