To ensure material for military supplies, consumer
products were administered and divvied up through tiny
— sometimes dreaded and confusing — ration stamps.
Post offices on wheels served rural communities
Stamps and covers show how the small African nation
offered postal services to its rural population starting
in 1973. At least 13 different routes and 15 postmarks
were used through 1995.
